I can't sign in

First, confirm you are using the same sign-in method you originally registered with — Apple, Google, or email/password are separate accounts and cannot be merged. If you registered with email and have forgotten your password, tap Forgot password? on the sign-in screen to receive a reset link. If the reset email does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder and confirm the email address is correct. Still stuck? Email support@footprints.travel with the email address on the account and we will help you recover access.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by FootPrints, so cancellation happens in the store where you signed up:

Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current billing period. Deleting your FootPrints account does not automatically cancel a recurring store subscription — cancel in the store first.

How do I delete my account?

Fastest is in-app: Profile → scroll to Danger ZoneDelete Account. Deletion is immediate and permanent. If you cannot sign in, email info@footprints.travel from the address on your account. Full instructions are on our Account Deletion page.

Where is my data stored?

Your itineraries, saved places, and Travel Wallet documents are stored on managed cloud infrastructure. Travel Wallet documents are encrypted in transit and at rest, are never used to train AI models, and can be deleted by you at any time. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

The app crashed — what should I do?

Crash reports are sent to us automatically (no personal content) and we use them to fix bugs. If a crash is repeatable, please email support@footprints.travel with:

  • Your device model and OS version (e.g. iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 17.5)
  • The app version (Profile → scroll to bottom)
  • The exact steps that triggered the crash
  • A screenshot or screen recording if you have one

This context helps us reproduce and fix the issue much faster.
